Services for Veterans and their families
At Manning Memorial Services we provide the following services to veterans and their families:
- Assistance preparing forms for submission to the Veterans Administration for the ordering of a government headstone
- MMS will receive your government marker instead of having it shipped to the cemetery where it may sit until installed
- We do a thorough inspection of all stones and report any deficiencies to the Veterans Administration (or its contractor)
- FREE installation of government-issued headstones for veterans. The only cost is a mileage fee of $2.00 per mile.
- Along with the installation, we also clean all debris and regrade the site as our way to honor the veteran
- FREE cleaning of any government-issued stone for veteran's families. The only cost is a mileage fee of $2.00 per mile.
- An American flag is placed on each site
- Photos are sent to the families upon completion
Why We Do It...
As a veteran, taking care of fellow vets is very near and dear to our hearts! Every veteran deserves to be buried and honored with dignity and respect. All families should have a beautiful and peaceful place to visit their loved one.
We have seen situations where veteran stones sat for months in the box and got damaged. We avoid this by directly receiving the stones and inspecting them immediately upon arrival; working with the VA to replace any damaged stone.
We have over 15 years experience with quality assurance as it pertains to proper installation and maintenance of headstones as gravesite upkeep.
